What are we raising funds for?

Refurbishing the kitchen

We are updating the 1980s kitchen to become a modern, semi-commercial kitchen with food preparation, dishwashing and servery areas. We are keeping the old stove for the moment.

Linking the kitchen to the bar

We'll add a small extension to connect the bar and existing kitchen. This space will include a new dishwasher, sinks, and storage.

Environmental improvements 

We'll be upgrading the existing walls in the kitchen to improve the Hall's energy efficiency, and adding an insulated ceiling to the void above the back bar.

Fire Safety

We are also adding two fire escapes and disabled access ramps to bring the building up to mandatory fire regulations and safety standards.
